Ok, I still don't have some fun quip about life, or what this blog is about to put here. Someday - perhaps tomorrow perhaps two years from tomorrow - I will figure it out. Until then, see my randomness below.

Shin to the e-ney

The bad news. . . my laptop upon which I rely for nearly everything is. . . D E A D! *ptooey* Good riddens I say. I will be disassembling it this Wednesday to sale the salvageables. Look for me on RJ's eBay (cus he has a seller rating of about 100billion so people will feel better about bidding with him).

The good news? Can there possibly be good news? YES!!! I am getting one of these. . .

Hewlett-Packard Special Edition Notebook with AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-56

For my one reader who is a nerd like that.. .

For the other reader

To both of you.. thanks for not complaining too much when I took this break from the blog. It was much needed, and a full regaling of the things that have transpired is in the works.

Vacation ROCKS!!!

It seems like only yesterday that I was studying for finals and now I resume school in a week. As I noted, one last hectic semester and I get to be a grown-up. Yet, on this threshold of the future, I find myself looking back.

Back to this last Christmas to a new Xbox 360 (because all i needed was one more diversion for my time!) and to time spent with friends. This time away from the office has allowed me to recharge my batteries and get ready for another semester of mayhem. I find myself once again looking forward to getting up way to early in the morning, and to the long days spent hashing out difficult tasks. There is a lesson about life in here... I just KNOW IT!

I am also reflecting back to my Grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary. The looks on their faces, the tears of joy with those who were there, the tears of sadness remembering those no longer with us. The best part and the worst part was the dancing. The best part is that this was something I grew up doing, with people I loved. The worst part was some woman offering me $200 to stop dj-ing and bring back the live band, despite the fact that the band was on a much earned rest! The fact that there were another 250 people there, easily, made her seem insignificant and so I quickly put her out of my mind. Again with the lessons.

The rest of my reflections of late are farther back and more self serving. If they warrant sharing, you two can read them here. :)
